Internship Opportunity for School Leavers

August 28, 2009

I wanted to let you know that we only have 6 spots remaining on our ‘Ski & Snowboard Instructor Internship Programs’ in North America – starting December this year.

This is a fantastic opportunity for school leavers because it gives them an opportunity to obtain paid employment in the United States or Canada and complete an internationally recognised ski or snowboard instructing qualification.   I would be grateful if you could inform interested students, in their last or second to last year, of this opportunity.

Successful applicants will receive:

  • A GUARANTEED offer of employment as a trainee Ski or Snowboard Instructor!
  • Early season orientation, instructor training and accommodation package
  • Canadian or American Instructor Alliance membership and level one ski or snowboard certification
  • Training, support and further qualifications throughout the season
  • Assistance and support with obtaining work visas, flights and insurances (in partnership with STA Travel)

We are looking for school leavers who:

*  Have a passion for skiing or snowboarding (beginner to advanced ability levels welcome)
*  Have a willingness to learn through training and working
*  Have an interest in travel and adventure
*  Are available between December and April
*  Will be 18 years of age by December
*  Are looking for a life changing experience
*  Have the financial support to participate (the all inclusive program costs are US$4750-$7950)

We will give any interested candidates an Instructor Starter Kit which is full of insider tips, planners and goodies that will give them a head-start into the world of ski and snowboard training and working as an instructor – no matter when or where they end up going. They just need to email me directly at sstraining@educatingadventures.com

As outlined above there are only six remaining places so we would urge keen school leavers to email me ASAP!

Thank you for your assistance, and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.

Yours sincerely,
Stephen Holland and the EA Ski & Snowboard Training Team

PS – Interested students should email me directly at sstraining@educatingadventures.com
